CreepyCon
Halloween and horror convention bringing together fans, creators, and vendors for a weekend of spooky fun in Knoxville.
Live eventI put on events, build websites and tools, and make odd little projects when a problem looks fun. This site is a work-in-progress that I update as I go.
I'm one of the people behind Right Brain Productions, where we create experiences that make people smile. We put on CreepyCon, Knoxville Book Festival, ChocolateFest, and publish Scream Seeker magazine. Tens of thousands of people come to our events because we focus on putting together something genuinely good.
I'm analytical by nature and have been building things for years. I work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress to create websites and systems that actually function well. I'm all over the Adobe suite - editing videos, recording voice work, making graphics, editing photos. I also build physical things like stages, do welding, mechanical work, whatever the events need. I test everything obsessively because I want it to work properly AND look good.
What drives me is making people happy. I hide easter eggs in everything I build because details matter and life should be more fun. The whole customer experience is my favorite part of what I do - I want to make as many people as happy as possible. I care about creating something people will actually enjoy rather than just going through the motions.
I've been doing sys admin work for years, web development for , and I love learning how everything works. I'm eclectic in my interests - I play tons of video games, build things digitally and otherwise, listen to all kinds of music, and geek out about space and rockets. I'm constantly tweaking and improving things because I want them to be the best they can be.
Been in Knoxville my whole life and I'm always working on growing the business and making the events bigger and better. There's always something new in the works.
